FTX US is one of the best crypto exchanges available to US-based crypto traders and investors. This video is a quick walkthrough of signing up for an account as well as reviewing some of the key features that make this crypto exchange stand out from the competition.

FTX has been described as a cryptocurrency exchange “built by traders, for traders”. The US version of the exchange is somewhat limited as it only allows you to trade spot markets, not derivatives. However, some of the best DeFi (decentralized finance) tokens are listed on the exchange giving US investors and traders exposure to these digital assets.

Some of the features I find useful and that makes FTX my favorite platform for trading include:
– Easy ACH deposits using Plaid for connecting your traditional bank account
– A fully functional API for connecting other tools to your account
– Stop losses, take profits and trailing stops (significantly better than Coinbase Pro)
– Chart based orders (you can place your orders right on the chart and the chart also records the buys and sells you’ve made)

With 2-factor authentication and address whitelisting, I’m pretty happy with the level of security offered on the platform.
