I learned about CoinZoom (not to be confused with the ZOOM videoconferencing platform) from a friend who was pretty excited about several of the unique services offered by this crypto service. As the crypto exchange space becomes more crowded, companies are seeking to differentiate themselves from the competition. And CoinZoom does that in several ways which we will explore in the article below.
What Is CoinZoom?
CoinZoom, at its core, is a cryptocurrency exchange. The platform, which went live March 1st, 2020, currently supports over 40 digital currencies which you can exchange USD for. You can also deposit and withdraw these cryptocurrencies to your own digital currency wallet or other exchanges. You can sign up for CoinZoom using THIS LINK and earn us both a $10 sign up bonus.
Some of the cryptocurrencies supported by CoinZoom include:
Algorand | Amp | Balancer | Bancor |
Basic Attention Token | Bitcoin | Bitcoin Cash | Bitcoin SV |
Cardano | Chainlink | Chiliz | Compound |
Curve Token | Dai | Dash | Decentraland |
Dogecoin | Enjin | Eos | Ethereum |
Ethereum Classic | Gemini Dollar | Graph Token | Keep Network |
Litecoin | Maker | Nem | Orchid |
Pancake Swap | PAX Gold | PAXOS | Polkadot |
Polygon | REN | Ripple | Shiba Inu |
Tron | Uniswap | Zcash | ZOOM |
With most of the popular crypto tokens supported, CoinZoom also pays you up to 10% annual interest on coins you hold on their platform. This is starting to be a more common feature to get customers to stick around for the long term. Which leads us to CoinZoom’s very own crypto token.
$ZOOM Token
By holding the $ZOOM token, you are able to unlock features and extra service offerings from the CoinZoom platform. This includes a sliding scale percentage of cash back on the CoinZoom debit card, reduced exchange fees and other perks still in development. According to CoinGecko, the $ZOOM token has a market cap of only $28 million at the time of this writing (see image below). This fact, combined with the ease-of-use of the platform, has led me to invest in the $ZOOM token myself. By saying that, I am not giving any financial advice, and you should most definitely do your own research before investing in a volatile asset like this.
CoinZoom Visa Card
The CoinZoom Visa debit card comes in 5 different options or ‘tiers’, based on how many $ZOOM tokens you hold in your account. The colors of green, white, gold, platinum and black, correspond to the 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% and 5% cash back earned when you use the card to spend your crypto. You can learn more about each of these options on CoinZoom’s website HERE.
So, that covers the CoinZoom crypto services company. I am excited to see where they go over the long term, having only been operational for a little over a year at the time of this writing. I think they might just provide some competition for my other favorite crypto services company, Voyager Digital, which I also use and recommend.
